Initial items:

The new franchise owner training programme is delivered in two parts:  Understanding Betterclean Services and how to sell the service, Delivering the Service.

Our comprehensive training programme consists of a five-day residential

programme which focuses on

  • Understanding the market

  • Selling Betterclean Services

  • Sales & Marketing

  • Administrative Systems and bespoke software

  • Setting up a new contract
     

Delivering the Service

This part of the training is usually run over two consecutive days, and covers the following:

  • Recruiting, training and managing staff

  • Setting up and starting a contract

  • Performance monitoring and feedback

  • Customer relations

  • Administrative Systems and bespoke software

 

Website & Promotional Video

You will be provided with your own page on the main corporate website, which will include your contact details, a personalised introduction, and the services you will be offering in your area.  This will be used for second level marketing.

Betterclean email address

A dedicated Betterclean Services email address will also be provided for you to use which will enhance brand continuity.

​

Betterclean Geographic Telephone Number

We set-up your own Betterclean Services Geographic telephone number to ensure convenience and continuity of service. In addition to this number, you will also have access to 24/7 call handling for those times when you are unable to get to the phone*.

Operations Manual

A comprehensive Operations Manual will be supplied that details the A-Z of the business method. It is copyright material and is on loan to you for the duration of the legal contract.

Licence Fee

This is the worth of the Betterclean Services total business system as it will operate in any given area.


Ongoing items:

 

Business Development Scheme

To give you the best start to your business we provide you with a guaranteed £200,000 of business enquiries within the first 12 months of trading. Couple this with the Business Development Support provided by Betterclean Services and you are sure to start on the right track.

 

Marketing**

Online marketing will be carried out on your behalf for the duration of your business. In addition to this, the production of promotional material, incentive schemes and other marketing activities will be provided by Head Office from time to time.

 

Employment Law & Health Safety Support**

Betterclean Services have partnered with CITATION for the provision of Employment Law and Health & Safety support. Franchise Owners have direct access 24 hours a day 7 days a week to advisors of both employment law and health and safety meaning that the correct up to date advise is always on hand.

 

BLISS (Betterclean Logistical Information Software System)

Betterclean Services Franchising has invested heavily in the production of a bespoke software system which is supplied for the duration of your Franchise. The system incorporates database software for the effective management of clients, staff records and time- keeping records. BLISS makes the management and administration of the business simple and efficient allowing you to spend more time on growing the business. Your initial fee includes two user licences***

 

Preferential supplier rates

As a Betterclean Services franchisee, you will have access to our approved suppliers who offer preferential rates on all your cleaning chemicals, equipment and uniform, giving you considerable savings on these items.

*24/7 call handling service is an additional fee of £15 per month + £1.50 per minute billing.

**the Marketing activity and Employment Law and H&S Support are linked to Franchise Owner compliance. These services are free to the Franchise Owner for the duration of the business providing the requirements under the Franchise Agreement are met. If the requirements are not met, then these services will incur an additional monthly charge to the Franchise Owner. Full details of this link are explained in the Betterclean Services Credit Scheme.

*** Additional licences will be required as the business grows and are charged on a monthly fee basis at the current rate.
